We expand the pilot studies into Hvidovre Hospital (DK’s biggest maternity ward) to provide more evidence to our hypotheses.
In Q3 2024, we plan to continue evaluating the clinical performance of the device by expanding the pilot study from Roskilde into Hvidovre Hospital. We need further evidence and a larger number of cases (births) to understand a full range of birth scenarios and user approaches, and conclude more accurately on safety and usability. Additionally, we expect a strong indicator of the device efficacy in reducing perineal tears from this next level study with 100 women giving birth. The first phase pilot study confirmed that the product is on track to an MVP, and with this offset, we have had conversations with three of the main hospitals in the capital region.
